Hello again, it has been a while since I’ve blogged last, so I figured this would be a prime opportunity to update. I’ve been swamped with week two of school, and everything that accompanies that.. Welcome to University life Chloe! Although I do have to admit that I discovered the food court area and I was pleasantly surprised with the plethora of delicious food they offer. This sandwich was what I chose for the first try haha
I also celebrated a Birthday, big 22! I conveniently threw my back out the weekend before.. Old lady problems. But my birthday was great, even though it was sandwiched between two school days and I worked, it was perfectly fine. My mom got me some great gifts, too many, but I appreciate them so much!! Some new DKNY Be Delicious perfume, a Princess Dy ring, which is my birthstone, an awesome dr. Seuss coffee mug, my renewed triple a card and a few other things.. Along with the greatest gift, tickets to Rascal Flatts.. AHHHHHHH!! Bucket list item. That is going to be amazing!! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Trupiano’s Italian bistro. Among a few other food item that were insanely good this week…
And for desserts:
This cake was from this awesome phillipino bakery in Oceanside called Red Ribbon.. Surprising light compared to dense chocolate cakes.. It was fantastic!
Then I made the magical death bars.. These bad boys are dangerous. Cookie dough in the bottom, snickers on the inside, and brownie over the top. Insanely good, but a slow and painful death.
Let’s talk a little baseball.. Yanimal strikes again with the WINdians.. Those boys are making me proud this year! Franconia has dazzled that franchise has created a team to make the Cleveland fans proud. Ps. praying for Masty and missing Vinnie P! Giants are still struggling this season, unfortunately, but Pablo pulled out an impressive performance this week in San Diego. 4-5, 3 homers, and 6 RBIs.. You go Glen Coco!!! Not to mention everything else going on in the league.. So thankful all this ARod crap isn’t the headline anymore. Yes, it’s still being discussed, but I’m glad it’s not the main story every flipping day. Finally we can appreciate everyone else and the great things they’re doing!
Lastly this damn weather. Southern California has been inhabited by Satan. This humidity is making everyone pissed off 24/7. I can’t wait to be able to drink hot coffee in the morning again. Or be able to walk outside without sweating profusely. Take shower, step outside for 5 minutes, need second shower. Humidity is for the birds! But there is one plus to this ridiculous heat.. We’ve had the most gorgeous sunsets! So il leave y’all with a few of these amazing views. Thanks for reading!
